So, it has been nearly a year since I have written on this blog. I wish I could update and say that so much has changed and I have grown so much. Truth be told, I have completely fallen off the wagon. I was doing so well for such a long period of time, and then it just stopped. No prompts, no transition; cold turkey.
My friend B and I went to visit Aunt L over the weekend. Every time I'm with her in Chantilly, it's always a blast and a small glimpse into what I possibly could do. This time was no different.
As soon as we arrived, we unloaded our bags, and went straight to the office. Aunt L was offering to teach her Tarot class for us (and a small group of others) and it was very enjoyable. I learned a lot about numerology, colors, the history--it was very interesting! During the class, we broke into couples and did individual reads with a peer. It has been so long since I've done a read, I was definitely a nervous wreck! Everything went very well, though, and I was able to hit the nail on the head a few times, especially with J. I was actually a little impressed with myself.
The next day, Aunt L did a mediumship read for B and I was able to be the writer/bystander. During the entire read, my head hurt and I was extremely groggy. At one point I had to close my eyes to get my bearings. It was when I closed my eyes, though, that I learned of a new "talent" (for lack of a better word) that I could develop. After a few seconds of having my eyes closed, I VERY vividly saw an alligator/crocodile made out of candle wax. I didn't know what the hell just happened and was completely certain I had lost my mind.
After B's read, I decided that I would mention what I saw when I closed my eyes. I didn't know if I had the capabilities of doing mediumship, but I felt compelled to at least say what I had seen. It turns out that B's grandmother/father would always say "See you later alligator/ After a while, crocodile". I was very excited to actually partake in the read and that I could at least provide this one piece of evidence to my friend.
I knew I could read Tarot; I've proven that I can do that and do it well over the last couple of visits, but this was insane.
Until next time.
